Every time I steam milk with the steam wand, milk is seared to the wand. I've tried to wipe off the milk as soon as the wand is pulled out of the pitcher, but atlas, it's already seared and won't wipe off easily. I end up using a wet paper towel to clean it up. Is there a better way that I'm missing?
La Marzocco makes a doubled walled steam wand that is likely to not have this issue, but it has it's own issue - it's $700!
