I bought one of these to improve the coffee I make for my fiancée every morning. We had been using a Keurig for years and I wanted to see if freshly ground beans would be an improvement. I bought this model because it was recommended in reviews. It is working flawlessly. The only problem I have encountered is that the lid won't stay on while it is grinding. If I leave the lid off, beans get ejected out of the top sometimes.
Is the lid not staying on due to vibrations of the grinder or beans shooting up are lifting the lid?
It's the vibrations that make the lid pop off .
Good use-case for a rubber band.
